Find the right starting structure.
Should I choose Squarespace or Squarekicker?
Choose native Squarespace when straightforward maintenance matters most. Choose Squarekicker when your brand needs more visual control, advanced styling and editorial layouts. Compare both paths on the Templates page.
Can I use a demo designed for another niche?
Yes. Choose by the pages, content flow, editing experience and visitor journey first. Images, colors, typography and example copy can be replaced for your own industry.
How do I know which page structure I need?
List the decisions your visitor must make before contacting or purchasing. Then choose a template whose pages and section flow support those decisions.
02 · Purchase
Know what you are buying.
Is the template a one-time purchase?
Yes. The template itself is purchased once. Squarespace hosting and any optional third-party services are separate.
What happens after I purchase?
You receive the product access and the instructions included with that listing. Follow the setup guide, gather your content, customize the template and complete the launch checklist.
Are Squarespace hosting and a domain included?
No. Your Squarespace subscription, domain and any separate services are not included unless a product listing explicitly says otherwise.
Can I return or exchange a template?
Digital-template purchases are generally final because access is delivered immediately. Read the current Policies & Licensing before purchase.
03 · Customizing
Make the system yours.
Do I need coding experience?
No coding is required for the intended template customization. Comfort using Squarespace is helpful, and Squarekicker products include their own relevant setup guidance.
Can I change the colors, fonts, images and text?
Yes. Those brand elements are intended to be replaced. Preserve the underlying hierarchy and page purpose while adapting the visual identity and message.
Does the template write my website copy?
The templates provide prewritten, adaptable direction and prompts, not final copy tailored to your exact business. You remain responsible for accurate brand, offer and legal content.
04 · Support
Help after purchase.
What support is included?
Included support covers access, supplied instructions and reasonable product-specific questions within the terms shown on the relevant listing. It does not replace custom design or unlimited implementation.
Where should existing customers ask for help?
Use Customer Support and include the purchasing email, template name, page URL, screenshots and the steps already tried.
05 · Licensing
Use the template correctly.
Can I use one purchase for several websites?
Unless the product terms expressly state otherwise, one purchase licenses one final website. Read the full license before purchasing or transferring a site.
Can I resell or redistribute the template?
No. Template files, sections, instructions and derivative template products may not be resold, shared or redistributed.
