I learned by building, testing and refining—then turned that experience into a clearer starting point for other business owners.
My path into web design was self-directed and hands-on. I learned Squarespace by exploring its tools and building websites step by step. As a creative, I wanted more room for movement and visual expression, but I did not want every idea to depend on writing code.
SquareKicker opened up more ways to shape layouts and interactions while keeping the site on Squarespace 7.1. I use that creative freedom with purpose: the design should support the message and keep the visitor’s next step clear.
That experience shaped Squarely Creative. I create templates that pair expressive design with thoughtful page structure and practical guidance, so service providers and creatives can make the finished website their own.
Three principles
